Are the events safe?
Motorbike activities by their nature contain elements of risk. Here at Extreme Wheelie Ltd. we pride ourselves on being able to offer you an adventurous experience delivered in a risk-reduced environment.

Does the ride expose riders to any danger?
The rider sits on a real sports motorbike although the axle is fixed so the bike can’t fall over; the rear wheel is moving so some caution should be exercised

Could any floor surfaces on the ride be slippery i.e. due to water? If so, what measures are in place to prevent accidents?
We ensure that floor surfaces are non-slip wherever possible. The outdoor nature of the ride means that it is exposed to weather conditions that can have an adverse affect on surfaces. Care needs to be taken when surfaces are wet. All riders will be warned.

Are there age restrictions for riders?
The minimum age is 18. The rider must also hold a full motorbike licence in order to ride.

How many people can ride the Extreme Wheelie machine at one time?
Only one (1) rider may ride the Extreme Wheelie machine at one time, no other member of the public will be allowed in the secure area around the Extreme Wheelie machine during a ride period for the safety of the rider, staff and public

Is there a trained staff member on-hand at all time and briefed in emergency?
There will always be a member of staff to control the ride and watch/advise the rider. Staff are trained in what to do in an emergency.

Is the Extreme Wheelie machine inspected on a daily basis for any hazards?
At the beginning of each day the Extreme Wheelie machine undergo rigorous maintenance and safety testing by competent engineers in accordance with manufacturer’s guidance.

What about the noise?
All efforts are in place to keep noise down to a reasonable limit; however there is a real sports motorbike, fan system and a low-noise power generator.

What can I wear on the Extreme Wheelie machine?
You can wear what you like as the bike is fixed and can’t fall over, however unsuitable footwear will be refused.

Health and Safety
The quality and safety of the Extreme Wheelie machine are of the utmost importance and therefore a considerable amount of time and effort is spent on making all our visits and exhibitions a safe and fun experience.

Legal Requirements
The Extreme Wheelie machine is covered by Public Liability Insurance. The amount of cover provided by this policy is £3 million.

Food Safety/Hygiene
Under no circumstances will food or drink be allowed on or within the barrier area around the Extreme Wheelie machine.

First Aid Facilities
The controllers of the ride carry a first aid kit with bandages.

Emergency planning
The emergency plan covers incidents such as fire, bomb and disaster. The emergency plans will be to shut down the ride and secure the ride the local emergency services will them be contacted regarding local emergency procedures. Fire extinguishers are available next to the rides in case of fire.

Security
Extreme Wheelie Ltd. accepts no responsibility for any personal effects.

DRUGS and ALCOHOL
Drugs and alcohol will not be tolerated in any circumstances. The management reserve the right to refuse anyone thought to be under the influence without question.

How do I book?
You can book over the phone providing that a deposit is secured for the event.

When does the balance need to be paid?
This is normally payable 14 days prior to the event.

Can I book last minute?
Yes. The whole event fee is required for any booking made within 14 days of the commencement of the event.

Can I pay by credit card?
Yes, all major credit cards are accepted, except Amex, as well as cheques.

Who do I make cheques payable to?
Extreme Wheelie Ltd.

Can I cancel a booking?
All cancellations must be in writing. Cancellations will result in the loss of the deposit.

Will Extreme Wheelie ever cancel an event?
Whilst every attempt is made to ensure the events run as advertised, Extreme Wheelie Ltd. will notify the client of cancellation as soon as possible, where we believe it is reasonable grounds that cancellation is necessary due to unsuitable conditions for the event.

What happens if Extreme Wheelie Ltd. cancel an event?
In the event of a cancellation clients will be offered the choice of either a full refund of the event fee paid (including deposit) or alternative dates.

Do you sell merchandise?
Yes. We have a full range of Extreme Wheelie Ltd. merchandise. These are available at the events or by request.
